Information message about the tangible earthquake in Kyrgyzstan, November 20, 2015

     The tangible earthquake M=5.1 has occurred on November 20, 2015 at 04:45 GMT (7:45 Moscow time) in Kyrgyzstan. This is the most significant aftershock of the strong earthquake in Kyrgyzstan on November 17, 2015 М=5.5.
     Parameters of the earthquake have been determined in the Alert Service (AS) of Information Processing Center (IPC) of Geophysical Survey of RAS in Obninsk with station data obtained from digital and analog seismic stations of Russia, countries of CIS and from abroad. Alert message on this earthquake has been delivered in 11 min after registration to the Ministry of Emergency of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM).
     Preliminary processing has been done with data from 16 stations, accurate processing - with data 43 stations.
     Fig. 1 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Ala-Archa (∆ 2.5º), Makanchi Array (∆ 9.2º), Kurchatov (∆ 11º), Borovoe (∆ 12.9º). Fig. 2 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Dzhazator (∆ 13.7º), Zalesovo Array (∆ 15.7º), Arti (∆ 18.9º), Garni (∆ 21.9º).

     IPC GS RAS also has obtained information with parameters of this event from some seismological centers, these data are given in table 1:

         Fig. 3 presents with red star the epicenter of this earthquake, its origin was located in Kyrgyzstan, at a depth of 15 km, 58 km E-S-E of Osh, 254 km W-S-W of the Naryn and 310 km S-W of Bishkek, the Capital of Kyrgyzstan.

    Macroseismic manifestations
         According to Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic this earthquake was felt in: villages Alga-Bas, Chaychi, Kablan-Kol, Langar, Beck-Dzhar, Kyzyl-Tuu with intensity 5-6 MSK, in village Laglan with intensity 4 MSK, in Osh city with intensity 4 MSK, in Jalalabad with intensity 3 MSK. According to EMERCOM KR 3381 buildings were investigated in Osh region, 897 buildings have a failure of I degree, 1401 buildings have a failure of II degree, 856 buildings have a failure of III degree, 227 buildings have a failure of IV degree. Besides that 115 social sites and 45 buildings attributed to the degree I, 29 buildings - the II degree, 33 to III, and IV degree of objects 9. As noted, the most affected was Kara-Suu District in Osh Region (KABAR).
