| The sensitive earthquake with М=4.6 has occurred on May 7, 2008 at 8:00 GMT (12:00 p.m. Moscow time) in the Black Sea near the southern coast of Ukraine. |
| Parameters of the earthquake
have been determined in the Alert Service (AS) of Information
Processing Center (IPC) of Geophysical Survey of RAS in Obninsk with station data
obtained from digital and analog seismic stations of Russia, countries of CIS
and from abroad. Alert message on this earthquake has been delivered in 18 min after
registration to the Ministry of Emergency of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM). |
| Preliminary processing has been done with data from 31 stations, accurate processing - with data 42 stations. |
| Fig. 1 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Anapa (∆ 4.7º), Isparta (∆ 7.6º), Kislovodsk (∆ 8.5º), Obninsk (∆ 10.4º), Kashpersky Gory (∆ 12.3º). Fig. 2 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Vasula (∆ 13.3º), Arti (∆ 15.3º), Lovozero (∆ 22.6º), Borovoe (∆ 26.6º), Kurchatov (∆ 31.9º). |
