| The tangible earthquake with M = 4.7 has occurred on November 3, 2015 at 17:43 GMT (20:43 Moscow time) in the Stavropol Region. |
| Parameters of the earthquake
have been determined in the Alert Service (AS) of Information
Processing Center (IPC) of Geophysical Survey of RAS in Obninsk with station data
obtained from digital and analog seismic stations of Russia, countries of CIS
and from abroad. Alert message on this earthquake has been delivered in 17 min after
registration to the Ministry of Emergency of the Russian Federation (EMERCOM). |
| Preliminary processing has been done with data from 27 stations, accurate processing - with data 36 stations. |
| Fig. 1 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Kislovodsk(∆ 1.1º), Pyatigorsk (∆ 1.3º), Shidzhatmaz (∆ 1.3º), Khabaz (∆ 1.4º). Fig. 2 presents fragments of records obtained from digital stations Neytrino (∆ 1.7º), Sochi (∆ 1.8º), Lazarevskoye (∆ 1.8º), Nalchik (∆ 1.9º). |

| Fig. 3 presents with red star the epicenter of this earthquake, its origin was located on the border of Stavropol and Krasnodar regions, at a depth of 10 km, 29 km N-W of Nevinnomyssk, 39 km S-W of Stavropol, 46 km S-E of Armavir. |

| According to GS RAS this earthquake was felt in Stavropol, Nevinnomyssk, villages Uspenskaya and Malanino with intensity 4 MSK, in Armavir, Kazinka, Vodorazdel, Kursavka, Gofitskoye, Cherkessk, Novokubansk with intensity 3 MSK, in Kislovodsk, Yessentuki, Lermontov, Pyatigorsk, Zheleznovodsk, Labinsk, Gulkevichy and vil. Otradnaya with intensity 2-3 MSK, in Karachayevsk, Mostovsky with intensity 2 MSK. Information on individual responses is collected in the new section of the site "You felt an earthquake?
